We can Only Prevent Disasters BEFORE they Happen

Let’s apply a core American tactical civil defense principal to our greatest national security asset, Starbase and SpaceX. Manmade disasters can only be prevented BEFORE they happen, not during or after.

Like all great men, Elon Musk has chinks in his armor. For example, he was recently interviewed by the famous podcaster Lex Friedman. Musk stated and has said in other interviews, that he believed Taiwan (Formosa) historically belongs to Red China and will be another province of the Red Chinese empire again soon.

That is exactly the position of the CCP. But it is not true. And hopefully Musk has changed his view on this. Historically, Taiwan was not always part of China.

Not sure if Musk is blind to the Red Chinese threat that their ownership of Taiwan would result in, but the West economically and militarily, cannot survive without Taiwan or it’s microchips. And all his businesses would be in risk of losing were Red China to take over Taiwan.

As serious would be the extension of Red China’s power to the outer islands and beyond to complete their Nine-Dash Line island power projection strategy. That Musk does not realize that his industrial empire is going down if Red China invades and occupies Taiwan is stunning.

To understand Musk’s thinking about the potential of a PLA attack at the Boca Chica SpaceX Launch Facility I turned to, where else, Grok, his alter ego.

Geographic Vulnerability of the Boca Chica SpaceX Launch Facility

Given the location of SpaceX Launch Facility at 52488 to 54298, Boca Chica Boulevard, Brownsville, TX, 78521 so close to the illegal alien invasion routes nearby, it would be easy for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to direct the Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers currently hiding among the millions of other military-age male invaders to form up against it to take down our most vital satellite launch facility.

If the CCP/PLA takes out the Boca Chica SpaceX Launch Facility Starbase’s ability to succeed:

What happens to our military communication capability worldwide, especially Starshield?
What happens to our civilian, business, and commercial communication capability worldwide if Starlink is no longer able to work?
How would the vital SpaceX and Tesla ecosystem of companies be able to continue to contribute to American prosperity, security, life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness if this facility is attacked?

Red China’s intel apparatus knows well how such an attack against SpaceX would cripple the U.S. With their Belt and Road commercial octopus wrapped around the world, they would have to use their navy and army as infrequently as Great Britain in the 1800s to control their empire.

NOTE: If anyone thinks I’m spilling the beans in this Substack, do some research on CCP and the the PLA intelligence apparatus. and especially the Ministry of State Security (MSS), the PLA Joint Staff Department, and the Central Military Commission (CMC), and the United Front Work Department. First Principles Strategy Applied to Musk’s CCP Blind Spot

In an interview with TED Curator, Chris Anderson, Musk spoke of what he attributes to his genius-level creativity and success. He calls it “First Principles.”

Musk: Well, I do think there’s a good framework for thinking. It is physics. You know, the sort of first principles reasoning. Generally I think there are — what I mean by that is, boil things down to their fundamental truths and reason up from there, as opposed to reasoning by analogy.

Through most of our life, we get through life by reasoning by analogy, which essentially means copying what other people do with slight variations.

Musk’s first principles strategy is the practice of actively questioning every assumption you think you ‘know’ about a given problem or scenario to create innovative, practical, problem solving. I seek to follow his first principal strategy in this analysis.

Writing a Letter to Mr. Big

Last year I wrote to Elon Musk about his SpaceX facility vulnerability. For the record, you can read the entire letter at the end of this Substack.

He is a hard man to reach and all I could find from Grok was an address in Palo Alto, CA to send it in hopes he addresses the vulnerability of his space launch facility before it is attacked. I am doubtful his staff passed it along to him.

Elon Musk is the kind of business titan that only appears every few generations. Consider that he has created the following businesses. Also think about how critical all these businesses are to the future of the United States which is why the CCP has him on their radar.

Realizing the importance of these businesses, and how disastrous a manmade disaster like an attack on the SpaceX Launch Facility would be for these companies, the U.S., and the world, here are the three primary vulnerabilities I gamed out and tried to convey to him. Even one would be a catastrophe, let alone all three attacks occurring at once.

1. Potential Amphibious Assault. Given your ocean-front exposure, a talented amphibious assault team, such as the CCP/PLA teams currently infiltrating the U.S. via Texas, could attack from that angle. By taking out SpaceX manufacturing and launch capabilities, they win and lead, in their view.

2. Drone Swarms: The CCP/PLA has proven gifted at manufacturing military-grade drones, especially tiny ones that cannot be detected. They could use these to swarm your facilities and do much damage. As Ukraine just proved drone swarm attacks can be launched from trucs,

3. Large Truck Detonation: Given that Highway 4 crosses your facility so closely, it would be easy for these same CCP/PLA teams to drive up a megaton explosive capability to destroy Starbase.

I know this sounds farfetched. When I told a guy I knew who worked in the White House in 1999 about the same truck risk due to Pennsylvania Avenue being an open artery in front of the White House, he asked me to write a white paper detailing what I thought were security vulnerabilities in the “most secure building in the world.”

When I wrote it and gave it to them, the security apparatus that worked there laughed at it. However, within 10 years, they instituted my recommendations. The most important one was they closed Pennsylvania Avenue off to avoid the large truck detonation risk.

Why the CCP Worked with the Biden Administration to Take Down Musk’s Businesses

It will eventually be proven that the Biden Administration had multiple federal investigations opened against Musk as part of their CCP money grab. They planned to put him away for years just as they did with Trump. The Manchurian candidate and rogue president committed treason and sold our American birthright to the opportunistic CCP who bought Hunter, Joe, and the entire Biden family for 30 pieces of silver.

The Biden Administration deflected and divided the American people with personal pronouns and DEI advancing certain groups and paid for the invasion of the U.S. with 21 million invaders instead of the carrying out their Consitutional duty to protect and defend the American people. Worse, they stole the money from the American taxpayer to fund the invasion. Who benefited? The CCP. Who lost? The American people.

I submit that the organization that had the most to gain from taking down Musk, and it will be revealed, was the CCP who acted through their surrogates in the Biden Administration to launch massive probes into his businesses with that goal uppermost.

I also submit that now that the CCP was not successful using it’s Biden Administration surrogates to take down Musk’s companies, they may pivot to Plan B and activate the 18,000 PLA troops they infiltrated across the Southern Border to take out Starbase. Of the two million “got-aways” who we never fingerprinted when they came into the U.S. from 2020 to 2024, the 18 divisions of PLA combatants among them, like other terrorists and enemy combatants, were sent for a reason.

I pray we identify, detain, and arrest them before they can go kinetic taking out our most sophisticated national security assets like Starbase. Moreover, we have to reverse the insanity of selling farm land next to our U.S. Air Force bases that the CCP/PLA is now using to spy on our Air Force, satellite, and missile forces.

Why did the Biden Administration Weaponize the Federal Government against Musk’s Enterprises

Under the Biden administration, at least 11 federal agencies were reportedly investigating Elon Musk's companies, with more than 32 continuing investigations, pending complaints, or enforcement actions targeting his six companies, including Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and X.

Department of Justice (DOJ): Investigated SpaceX for alleged discriminatory hiring practices against refugees and asylum seekers. Also probed Tesla for potential securities or wire fraud related to misleading claims about its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving capabilities, including a staged video exaggerating these features.

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC): Conducted a fraud probe into whether Musk properly disclosed his accumulation of Twitter (now X) shares before announcing plans to purchase the company in 2022. Also investigated Tesla for potential securities violations related to overstated autonomous driving capabilities.

They play the long game and, tragically, they know how to buy influence with American politicians, entertainers, businessmen, universities and professors, NGO’s, and others to further their Belt and Road Initiative and other long-range CCP strategies to rule the world.

These federal Musk company investigations were overlapping, with multiple agencies examining similar issues, such as Tesla’s autonomous driving safety or SpaceX’s environmental impact. These were wide ranging, coordinated efforts using the full power of the federal government to interfere with, degrade, financially fine, persecute and prosecute, and reduce the profitability of these companies. Again, who benefits the most from such a strategy? Read the literature on the CCP websites and you will find your answer.

Musk’s Starship and the B-24 Miracle at Willow Run Comparison

Musk delivered a stunning talk at SpaceX outlining the future manufacturing schedule to build the necessary number of space ships to colonize Mars. He made a point of pointing out that he wants to repeat the Miracle of Willow Run’s production of a B-24 an hour with Starship production at Starbase. The highest last column you see in one of the slides he used, below, is the rate of production of the B-24 that he hopes to match and eventually exceed.

It has been a rapid transition from when my MIA Uncle 1st Lt. Frank J. Curley served in the United States Army Air Force to the the United States Air Force I knew to the current United States Space Force. My Uncles Billy Curley and Ray Curley did their part to defend this nation in the U.S. Air Force, as have many of my cousins. More on them below.

I found it interesting that Musk compared the rate of manufacture of his Starships with that of the rate of manufacture of B-24’s in WWII. As my MIA Uncle Frank was shot down off HaHa Jima Japan in his B-24 liberator, I have read a great deal about how they were manufactured at the rate of one every 55 minutes in WWII. Grey Geese Calling: A History of the 11th Bombardment Grup Heavy (H) in the Pacific, 1940 - 1945 by W. M. Cleveland and One Damned Island After Another: the Saga of the Seventh by Clive Howard and Joe Whitley both detail the revolutionary accomplishments of the B-24 for America and I wish Mr. Musk even greater success.

As my family has given Frank’s life and future for this nation, as one who has served in the United States Air Force, and as one who understands the genius of President Donald J. Trump’s creation of the United States Space Force and how critical it is to the future of this nation, I want the SpaceX Launch Facility to be secure to protect Americans. The recent incorporation of Starbase as a government entity is an important step in that process.

The U.S. Space Force, our global satellite and communications networks, our very American way of life fundamentally, ceases to be effective if the SpaceX Launch Facility is taken out. Hopefully, it can be hardened before it is attacked. The 50,000+ PLA soldiers who have invaded the U.S. are here on a mission. It is not hard to imagine, given the CCP/PLA strategic objective to conquer this nation, that taking out this facility is one of many objectives on their list.

Impossible you say? Then why is the CCP/PLA buying thousands of acres of farmland near U.S. Air Force bases while forbidding American purchases of Chinese farmland? Why is the CCP/PLA sending spy balloons into “secure” U.S. airspace?

If the CCP/PLA launch an attack on Starbase in coordination with a cyberattack against the U.S., and all indications are that they would, this will provide them with a force multiplier we may not be able to countermand. These Red Chinese sleeper cells came across our Southern border from 2020 to 2024 and are here now. It is only a matter of time before they are activated as in an attack on Starbase or other vital national security assets. We need to go on offensive removing this threat before it strikes.

We no longer live in a world like Vietnam where a war lasts 13 years. This kind of attack would be over in 3 hours.

Who has the capability, motive, and opportunity to take out the Boca Chica SpaceX Launch Facility? Obviously, the CCP.

But SpaceX can only build a Starship a day or hour IF they protect their facility. Imagine the advantage the removal of Starbase means to CCP plans for world domination. A regime that takes out human organs from it’s own citizens while they are alive would have no problem taking out Starbase if they thought it would increase their power. NOW is the time to ensure that can never happen.

Willow Run’s B-24 was so miraculously productive because they did not have to be concerned about Imperial Japanese or Nazi Germany sabotage or kinetic attack. Given the CCP and PLA plans for world domination, I am not sure that Starbase will enjoy that luxury.

Future Dust

As our teachers told us so many times,

Screaming Like a Banshee

My wife screams like a banshee

to cover wailing with neutral sound

when my toddler Eamon fights her

and refuses to take a nap.

I hear Grandmom Curley screamed

like a banshee when the telegram arrived

from the War Department in 1945

to tell her the oldest, Frank, the one

who was supposed to be the Jesuit,

instead had been killed in action

when the Japanese ack-ack

turned his B-24 into a fireball

on his 39th mission over Haha Jima

in an ocean grave in the South Pacific.

Grandmom Curley screamed

like a banshee for weeks

until they hooked her up

and shot electricity through her brain

to cover wailing with neutral sound.

She never screamed like a banshee again.

Instead, she wailed so deep down for 20 years

laughter was no longer a planet in her galaxy

and the only way people would describe her was,

“She was never the same after Frank died in the Pacific.”

While looking at Starbase from above, I have noted several security vulnerabilities. No doubt your security people have as well, but I just wanted to game it out.

How to be Buried at a VA Cemetery

Below are photos of my Uncle Ray Curley after his 143rd mission in Vietnam and my Uncle Bill Curley receiving a silver star. Both are buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Although I created a will from the excellent free template at Relevant Radio, my wife lit me up two weeks ago with, “You shouldn’t leave it to the boys to have to arrange your burial. Get that done.” So, I did. I filled out the online VA Form 40-10007 (Application for Pre-Need Determination of Eligibility for Burial in a VA National Cemetery) and am eligible. I provide the contact information below for any Vets out there who are considering doing the same.
